The Ministry of Interior has alerted citizens and residents traveling to the Republic of Ukraine that starting from the date of December 19, 2013 AD, Ukrainian legislations included amendments on the mandatory provision of a financial guarantee (a statement of account and a copy of the credit card) to obtain a visa to Ukraine, to stay in it or transit for foreigners and people who do not have nationalities.
The Ministry pointed out that according to these amendments, any visitor to Ukraine must provide a financial guarantee amounting to 90 U.S. dollars per one day stay in Ukraine, noting that the owners of diplomatic and special passports or members of official delegations are exempted from the mentioned procedures.
