According to the recent changes in Ukrainian legislation starting from 16.04.2017 invitation letter from the State Migration Service is no longer required. In turn, a notarized invitation letter from a natural person or an invitation letter on a letterhead from a legal entity will be sufficient for issuing a short-term visa.

The new changes are expected to simplify the visa process and attract more foreign visitors to Ukraine.
