Now Ukrainians can also enjoy the benefits of taxi apps, which are steadily taking over the world. The WinTaxi project, which operates on a similar principal to the famous Uber, has received funding from a Ukrainian angel investor Evgeniya Dubinskaya, who has already supported several Ukrainian startups. In 2013 a business woman invested $ 75 000 into A-Reality project, which works with augmented reality services.

Wintaxi startup team plans on spending money on the development of new features for the app. At the moment, the app is able to determine location of the Wintaxi app user, display available cars nearby and track their movement on the way to the user. Afterwards, you can rate the quality of your ride and driver. An improved version of Wintaxi app will give you an opportunity for choosing the class of your taxi and getting a guarantee that you will receive a car.

The app can already be used in Kyiv, but an updated version available in October will also cover Dnepropetrovsk, Kharkov and Odessa. Wintaxi project is in development since the summer of last year and it has been supported by several Ukrainian angel investors. In quite a short term of its operation the app has already been installed by more than 7000 users.
