Residence Permit in Ukraine by D-10 Program

Since 2021 residence in Ukraine has been significantly simplified.

From now all participants of Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) Volunteer Programs are eligible for the residence permit of Ukraine. This residence is valid for 12 month with annual prolongation.

Participation in the Volunteer Program is aimed to get the residence permit. You are welcomed to visit your project events, but you are neither required to nor you are bound to any specific location.

Volunteer project areas: education, language & healthcare programs, development of democratic institutions, intercultural communication.

Requirements to participate in Volunteer Program:

  • at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to cover your own personal expenses throughout the duration of the volunteer program
  • Speak English at an intemediate level
  • 'Clean' Criminal Background

Time-frames: invitation processing takes 3-4 days, delivery worldwide up to 5 days,

D-type visa application processing depends on the embassy, normally it's 2-3 days, residence permit on arrival - 10 days.

In total it's plus/minus 5 days due to processing delays, holidays etc.

    Receive the documents from the Volunteer Organization (NGO)

    Visit the closest Ukrainian embassy/VFS office for visa processing (long-term migration visa, D-type)

    Accompanied by our lawyer visit the State Migration Service of Ukraine & receive your residence card

  • 5

    Final stage. Your residence permit is ready. You will get registered by the residential address in Ukraine.
